Why a 125?
Primarily, I wouldn't be able to afford to travel for this long or this far on a bigger bike. 90+mpg, 130kg, easy to self service and even easier to find a garage in any Western European town that stocks 125 parts. I didn't go travelling to see the motorway so cruising at 80(50) is no problem.
